  Education Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent.

  Training Hours: Complete 7,680 hours of on-the-job training and 320 hours of in-class technical training for this apprenticeship.

  Relay and instrumentation technicians monitor, test, and adjust Vital Signal Control Relays (VSCR) in transit systems. They must be skilled at CNC programming, interpreting and diagnosing code and power systems, and understanding different types of numerically controlled machines.
