    Education Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent.

    Training Hours: Complete 4,520 hours of on-the-job training and 480 hours of in-class technical training for this apprenticeship.

    Entertainment industry power technicians make sure big events have the proper sound and lighting. They organize, install, and supervise temporary power distribution systems for use in the entertainment industry. Their skills may be needed on film or television sets, during live performances or concerts, or during trade shows and other special events.
