    Education Requirements: Grade 10 or equivalent.

    Training Hours: Complete 6,400 hours of on-the-job training and three 7-week (630) in-class technical training sessions for this apprenticeship.

    Heat and frost insulators prevent or reduce the transmission of heat, cold, sound, and fire in buildings. They apply insulating materials to plumbing, heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems, piping equipment, pressure vessels, and the interior surfaces of buildings.

    Training Hours: Complete 5,400 hours of on-the-job training and 400 hours of in-class technical training for this apprenticeship.
