    Education Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent.

    Training Hours: Complete 5,700 hours of on-the-job training and 300 hours of in-class technical training for this apprenticeship.

    Composite structures technicians build, repair, and replace aircraft structural components. This includes fabricating panels, repairing sheet metal, and removing damaged metal structures. They bond metal structures together and finish them. They must be able to interpret technical aerospace data.
