  Education Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent.

  Training Hours: Complete 4,520 hours of on-the-job training and two 8-week in-class technical training sessions for this apprenticeship.

  Water well drillers construct and maintain water wells. This work also includes locating water sources, protecting ground water, maintaining drilling equipment, disinfecting completed wells, and installing or servicing pumps.
