  Industrial Voluntary Certification

  Education Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent.

  Training Hours: Complete 5,400 hours of on-the-job training and 300 hours of in-class technical training for this apprenticeship.

  Electrical control (machine) builders build the electrical portions of machine tools. They install electrical devices and enclose them in protective tubing. They must work from electrical schematics before preparing and organizing all the necessary wiring.
